Notice of Pending Application for Proposed Culvert
The Town of Land O Lakes has applied to the Department of Natural Resources for a permit to replace the 9-foot diameter culvert on Little Portage Lake Rd. on Portage Creek (this culvert is the outlet to Little Portage Lake). The new culvert will be replaced in kind and have the same dimensions and elevations as the existing culvert. A small unauthorized rock dam that is located at the culvert inlet will need to be removed to allow for culvert installation. The rock dam cannot be replaced unless a separate DNR Chapter 31 permit is issued.

The Department has made a tentative determination that it will issue the permit for the proposed activity. If you would like to know more about this project, please contact Jon Simonsen at the email listed below. Docket Number IP-NO-2024-64-T01786
