NOTICE – TOWN OF LAND O’ LAKES

The PETITION FOR VACATION OF ROADS located in Government Lot 02 Sec 33, T43N, R10E

(hereinafter “Lot 2”) and Government Lot 03 Sec 33, T43N, R10E (hereinafter “Lot 3”) of the

Town of Land O’ Lakes, Vilas County, Wisconsin will be on file in the Land O’ Lakes Town Hall,

4331 CTH-B, Land O’ Lakes WI 54540, telephone 715-547-3255, and the Vilas County

Courthouse, 330 Court Street Eagle River, WI 54521, telephone 715-479-3600, for a period of

twenty-one (21) days commencing on June 17, 2024 for public inspection in accordance with

Section 236.41, Wis. Stats. The roads are described as follows:

The road located in Lot 2 between Parcel ID 12-2272 and 12-2259

through 12-2272-0011 (A.K.A. “Lake Bluff Drive”).

The road located in Lot 2 between Parcel ID 12-2259 through 12-

2272-0011 and 12-2272-0004 through 12-2272-0003 (A.K.A.

“Chippewa Trail”).

The road located in Lot 2 between Parcel ID 12-2272-0004 through

12-2272-0003 and 12-2235 (A.K.A. “Menomonee Trail”).

The road located in Lot 2 between Parcel ID 12-2272-0005 and 12-

2272-0006 (A.K.A. “Menomonee Trail”).

The road located in Lot 2 and Lot 3 between Parcel ID 12-2259

(A.K.A. “Balsam Road”).

The road located in Lot 3 between Parcel ID 12-2259 and 12-2244

through 12-2254 (A.K.A. “Menomonee Trail”).

The road located in Lot 3 between Parcel ID 12-2252 and 12-2254

(A.K.A. “Spruce Lane”).

The road located in Lot 3 between Parcel ID 12-2259 through 12-

2257 and 12-2259 (A.K.A. “Pawnee Drive”).

The road located in Lot 2 and Lot 3 between Parcel ID 12-2263 and

12-2259 (A.K.A. “Chippewa Trail”).

The road located in Lot 3 between Parcel ID 12-2263 (A.K.A. “Deer

Trail”).

Persons interested in inspecting this petition may do so at the Land O’ Lakes Town Hall Monday

through Thursday 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Persons interested in inspecting this petition may

do so at the Vilas County Courthouse Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. After

being on file at the Land O’ Lakes Town Hall and Vilas County Courthouse for twenty-one (21)

days, the petition for vacation of the roads located in Lot 2 and Lot 3 will be presented to the Town Board of the Town of Land O’ Lakes at the Town Board meeting on July 17, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

Prior to the Town Board meeting, the Town Board of the Town of Land O’ Lakes will hold a public

hearing on July 17, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. to hear all interested parties. The location for both meetings

will be at the Land O’ Lakes Town Hall, 4331 CTH-B, Land O’ Lakes WI 54540. Following the

passage of said resolution the matter will be presented to the Vilas County Circuit Court for the

hearing of all interested parties and the order of vacation.
