NOTICE OF 2017 BUDGET HEARING

FOR THE TOWN OF LAND O’ LAKES, VILAS COUNTY

 

The Town of Land O’ Lakes Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the budget to be adopted for said town for the calendar year of 2017.

Said hearing will be held at the Land O’ Lakes Town Hall, 4331 Hwy B, on Tuesday, November 22^nd, 2016, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Said budget in detail will be available for inspection at the budget hearing 11/22/16 at the Town Hall, 4331 Hwy B, Land O’ Lakes.

 

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, immediately following completion of the budget hearing on the proposed 2017 budget which begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, a special town meeting of the electors will be held pursuant to section 60.12(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes:

1. To adopt the 2016 tax levy to be paid in 2017 pursuant to section 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
2. To approve compensation for elected officials for the next term of office pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(b)(1) of Wisconsin Statutes.
3. To authorize the Town Board to obtain short-term loan in case of an emergency, not to exceed $100,000.
4. To approve highway expenditures for 2017 pursuant to Section 82.03(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
5. To authorize the Town Board to obtain funding for the Snowflake building project.

 

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

Notice is hereby given that immediately following the budget hearing and special town meeting, on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, a special town board meeting will be held to adopt the 2017 budget pursuant to Sec 60.40(4) Wis. Statutes.
